Are you looking to join a cutting-edge technology company?

eSoftThings is a system design power house specializing in computer vision, IoT, wireless and audio enabled products and solutions. eSoftThings holds an impressive track record in the design of computer vision solutions for advanced driver-assistance systems, IoT devices and solutions, low power wireless and audio enabled connected devices.

In cooperation with our ecosystem partners our team delivers outstanding products and solutions to the marketplace. We operate from our high-tech labs in the city of Rennes in the Brittany region of France and have a worldwide customer base.

Over 70% of our annual turnover is generated from overseas sources.

Joining us is an opportunity to work on amazing projects in an international context. As a fast-growing startup, we offer excellent career opportunities in a range of disciplines.

The aim of this internship is to support the development of eSoftThings’ Autonomous Vehicles business.

In a team composed of engineers in signal / image processing, and embedded system engineers, you will have the mission to study object tracking algorithms (ranging from classical to the most sophisticated) in order to isolate a robust solution and apply it on image sequences (real or simulated) with vehicles, bicycles or pedestrians.

From these tracking results, a study of the trajectory of the objects and a study of the predictability of these trajectories may be carried out at the end of the training period.

A real time implementation on processors dedicated to image processing will also be considered at the end of the internship.

Your tasks will include:

  • Bibliographic study and selection of tracking algorithms to implement

  • Choice of a detection method before the tracking study

  • Benchmarking algorithms selected according to criteria defined in the State of the Art

  • Implementation of a trajectory follow-up

  • Study of the predictability of these trajectories

This internship requires the following skills:

  • Interest in algorithmics, especially in computer vision

  • Good level in programming (a deep knowledge of python would be a plus)

  • Creative spirit, autonomy

The internship is open to future engineers as part of their final-year internship, the duration of the internship is 6 months.

The internship is paid 6,92 € Gross per hour.
